Three Indo-Canadians, three others arrested in drugs and weapons bust
RCMP drug section executed a search warrant at a house on February 8 in the 15900-block of 110th Avenue and seized cocaine, heroin, marijuana and ecstasy as well as a large number of weapons, some of which were fully loaded. The raid followed an investigation into the drug trafficking operation.

Businessman who was beaten up by RCMP in 2004 murdered
Surrey RCMP Cpl. Roger Morrow said: "Upon attendance police secured the scene and located one of the male participants with very serious injuries. A short time later he succumbed to these injuries. The Integrated Homicide Investigation team was called in and they are in the early stages of their investigation…Police do not consider the attack to be random."

As a Canadian Muslim, I have been deeply concerned by the publication of cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) first in a Danish newspaper and subsequently in other media around the world and the violent response that they have caused.
