SURREY RCMP are seeking witnesses and possible video footage for an ongoing investigation into a serious motor vehicle collision. 

At approximately 9:50 p.m. on June 4, a collision occurred between a motorcycle and an SUV in the intersection of 88th Avenue and 126th Street. The motorcycle was travelling westbound on 88th Avenue, and the SUV was eastbound on 88th Avenue, making a left turn (north) at 126th Street when the collision occurred.

The 24-year-old male motorcycle driver was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died in hospital. The driver of the SUV remained on scene and cooperated with police.

Witnesses or anyone who may have video of the collision or the vehicles driving in the area prior to the collision are asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502.
