Surrey RCMP seek witnesses and video in June 4 collision investigation

SURREY RCMP are seeking witnesses and possible video footage for an ongoing investigation into a serious motor vehicle collision. 

At approximately 9:50 p.m. on June 4, a collision occurred between a motorcycle and an SUV in the intersection of 88th Avenue and 126th Street. The motorcycle was travelling westbound on 88th Avenue, and the SUV was eastbound on 88th Avenue, making a left turn (north) at 126th Street when the collision occurred.

The 24-year-old male motorcycle driver was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died in hospital. The driver of the SUV remained on scene and cooperated with police.
