SURREY RCMP are investigating a death threat to Surrey businessman Harjit Singh Atwal.

Atwal received an email, a copy of which The VOICE has but will not disclose as the investigation is ongoing, on Saturday.

He contacted police and an RCMP officer came over to his place. The officer requested Atwal’s iPad and he immediately turned it over. Police later returned it to him.

Now it has to be seen if the RCMP is efficient and smart enough to track down the IP number of the email sender.
