Surrey-Delta Volleyball Club won the annual KDS tournament played at Khalsa School Surrey when they defeated Friendly Club in straight sets in the final.

This volley ball tournament was organised by Khalsa Diwan Society (KDS) Ross Gurudwara Vancouver. Seven teams participated in the tournament.

Prize distribution was done by KDS president Sohan Singh Deo, who himself is an ex-volleyball player.

The final match between Surrey-Delta and Friendly Club was well-contested but Surrey-Delta won in three straight sets.

Surrey-Delta are also the reigning champions of the prestigious Rajwinder Dhillon Memorial Volleyball Tournament. 17-year-old Ervin Brar of Surrey-Delta Club was the star of the KDS Tournament.

This year the tournament was organised by Jagjit Singh Bassi. The Surrey-Delta Volleyball Club was formed in 1986 by ex-BSF player Piarra Singh.
