PICS Youth Business Development Program accepting candidates

The PICS Youth Business Development Program is now accepting potential candidates for the project.  As a part of this initiative PICS, along with CYBF, supports young entrepreneurs during the launch of their businesses by providing pre and post-launch coaching, financing, mentoring and business resources.

Based on their credit rating, youth entrepreneurs can get a loan of up to $ 45,000; and newcomer (with less than five years of residency in Canada) youth entrepreneurs without a credit history can get a loan of up to $ 15,000 to launch their businesses.  At this time, we can process 10-15 loan applications per month – on a first-come first-served basis.

If you know young entrepreneurs, aged 18 – 34, ready to start their own business, please refer them to PICS so that we can help them bring their business ideas to life!  Thereafter, having run their business successfully; between 3 to 5 years, they could become eligible for the Expansion Program which provides financing of up to $ 30,000 so as to be able to expand their business. For further information, or to discuss eligibility of the clients for the program, you may contact Deshpal Grewal at 604-596-7722, ext 110, and email at deshpal.grewal@pics.bc.ca.
