Pakistan Day celebrations’ photos

Consul General of Pakistan, Dr Muhammad Tariq (centre) at the flag hoisting ceremony and luncheon at his home in Vancouver to celebrate Pakistan Day. Members of the Pakistan community celebrated with hundreds present at the Pakistan Day event in Surrey organized by Pakistani Canadian Cultural Association (PCCA).  One of the organizers of the event, Naveed Waraich of PCCA,  instilled pride in the younger generation to be proud of Pakistan and their identity. Children were the theme at the event in memory of the children killed in Peshawar by terrorists.
