New executive committee of Surrey’s Gurdwara Sahib Brookside

HEADLINES GURDWARA ELECTION GSB 

THE election of the Executive Committee of Canadian Ramgarhia Society that manages the affairs of Gurdwara Sahib Brookside, Surrey, took place on Sunday, December 14 in a cordial atmosphere.

The newly elected directors, with some of the new faces, will take charge from January 1. For more than a decade executive committee members have been elected unanimously by the society members.

The following members were acclaimed unanimously the directors of the society for a two-year term (2015-2016):

President – Surindar Singh Jabal; Senior Vice President – Dharam Singh Panesar; Vice President – Balbir Singh Nanra; Secretary – Manjit Singh Vahra; Senior Vice Secretary – Nirmal Singh Kalsi; Vice Secretary – Mohinder Singh Faloure; Treasurer – Tarsem Singh Virdee; Senior Vice Treasurer – Davinder Singh Jabal; Vice Treasurer – Harjit Singh Sehra; Public Relation Secretary – Hardev Singh Bassan.

Members – Robinder Singh Burgess, Taranjit Singh Chana, Gurjit Singh Kalsi, Amarjit Singh Matharu, and Sukhwinder Singh Bharaj.

Trustees – Jaswant Singh Jandoo, Deep Singh Kalsi, Manjit Singh Mudhar, Kartar Singh Sabharwal, and Kirpal Singh Dhinjal.

  1. I am interested to find out if Gurudwaras have bullying, harrassment, OR physical assault cases happening among sevadaars, committee members, any discrimination among male & female members?? If yes, how do they handle it?? Thanks and Happy New Year.
