Male dies after being struck by a train in Surrey’s Crescent Beach area

ON Wednesday at 10:03 p.m., Surrey RCMP responded to a report that a male had been struck by a passenger train in the Crescent Beach area of Surrey. Police officers who rushed to the area found the male dead.

Surrey RCMP are currently investigating the matter and the investigation is still in its early stages. Multiple witnesses are being interviewed in order to create a clear picture of the incident.

The name of the dead person is not being released by police at this time.

TV reports said that some teenagers were playing a game to see how close they could get to the train while standing on or near the railway tracks before jumping away.
