Jaspaul Uppal, 21, of no fixed address is third suspect in assault on autistic male

PEEL Regional Police announced on Thursday that Jaspaul Uppal, 21, of no fixed address is third suspect in the March 13 vicious assault on a male with autism in the City of Mississauga.

A Canada-wide arrest warrant for Uppal has been issued and he is wanted for one count of aggravated assault.

On March 13, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a violent assault that occurred in the Square One bus terminal located at 200 Rathburn Road West in Mississauga.

The 29-year-old victim from Mississauga was sitting on the stairs of the lower level of the bus terminal when he was approached by three male suspects. The three males surrounded the victim and continued to punch and kick the male multiple times. The suspects then fled the area.

The victim was taken to local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

On March 23, Peel Regional Police investigators arrested and charged Parmvir Singh Chahil, 21, of no fixed address for aggravated assault.

On March 26, Ronjot Singh Dhami, 25, of no fixed address, surrendered to Peel Regional Police, and was charged with one count of aggravated assault.
