The Genesis new car range for now, starts in Canada with the Genesis G80 starting at $55,000, while the G90 starts at $84,000. The G90 that came our way recently was an impressively big car. Long, sleek and imposing, it has a unique look thanks to the strong-featured grille with the cool winged Genesis emblem. The side profile is handsome and classically conservative in profile. The Genesis arrives with two engines – a base V6 and a V8. The V6 as on our tester is a new, twin turbocharged 3.3-litre engine sporting 365 horsepower with an impressive 376 lb.-ft. of torque. The 5.0 litre V-8 engine delivers 420 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. Transmission is via an 8-speed automatics unit with SHIFTRONIC® & paddle shifters and a choice of rear or all-wheel drive. The G90 also offers Intelligent Drive Mode – Smart, Eco, Sport & Individual drive modes and a Shift-By-Wire (SBW) system
Make no mistake, with faultless body shut lines, incredible detailing and finishing inside and out, this is a luxury car par excellence.
