There is a great resentment among the members of the Sikh community after reports emerged of a beer bar in Los Angeles in California displaying full size portraits of Sikh Gurus in their establishment serving alcohol.

Satnam Singh Chahal Executive Director North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) said that after receiving complaint about Pikey Bar, he immediately called to Hallyeluyah Manager of the Pikey Bar to lodge a strong protest for displaying Sikh Gurus photos in the bar.

Chahal told the manager that the Sikhs have suffered terrible anguish because of this distasteful act.

Manager of the Bar assured Chahal that these pictures of the Sikh Gurus will be removed immediately and apologized from the Sikh Community for this act.
