ABBOTSFORD Police on Monday said they have arrested Amrik Singh Kular, 43, of Abbotsford in connection with two incidents that allegedly took place on Saturday (July 26)

Police said that on Saturday at 1:55 p.m., a young woman contacted them to report that she had been grabbed by a man who subsequently moved a short distance away and appeared to be exposing and touching himself.  Both incidents took place in the 2400 block of Montrose Avenue.

Police officers interviewed the 18-year-old victim and a witness and located a man matching the description still in the area and arrested him.

Kular has now been charged with sexual assault and committing an indecent act.
